1. What is Halvestor?
A free stock-market simulator that lets you practise halal investing with virtual cash. No real money, no risk.

2. How are stocks marked “Halal”?
We screen every company against the AAOIFI Shariah Standard. Ratios are refreshed daily; edge cases are reviewed by Mufti Humaid Zackey (CSAA).

3. What happens if a stock turns non-compliant?
The Buy button disappears and the stock is flagged “Blocked” until it returns to AAOIFI thresholds.

4. What is the Purification Wallet?
When you realise a virtual profit, the app automatically moves the non-permissible portion (≤5%) into a separate wallet so you can simulate donating it.

5. Do I have to calculate purification manually?
No. The app calculates it for you and shows the percentage on each trade ticket.

6. Is this real trading or real money?
No. All balances are virtual; prices may be delayed. The app is for educational purposes only and provides no investment advice.

7. What does it cost?
The paper trade app is 100% free. There are no subscriptions, spreads, or hidden fees.

8. Do I need KYC or bank details?
Not for the paper trade app. You sign up with just your name and e-mail.

9. Which countries can use Halvestor?
Anyone aged 18+ can sign up. The app is built in the UK but available worldwide.

10. Where does your market data come from?
We use an independent market-data provider. Prices are for simulation; they may be delayed or simplified.

11. How is my data protected?
We store only your name and e-mail, encrypted at rest, and comply with UK GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for details.

12. Can I delete my account?
Yes. Tap Settings → Delete Account, or email us at prosper@halvestor.com and we’ll erase your data within 30 days.

13. Will you add real trading later?
That’s the plan. This MVP helps us refine the halal engine before launching a fully regulated live platform.

14. I found a bug or have feedback—what do I do?
